Amazing team, had the Ruben sandwich it was a good recommendation from one of the staff. Went with my workmates and they accommodated all our dietary restrictions. Will be coming back soon for sure.

Visited Oscars in downtown Winnipeg to enjoy some pregame breakfast. Good sized menu and all the things you would expect at a deli restaurant. Friends enjoyed items from French toast, omelettes, cutlet and eggs, sandwich,soup, etc. everything looked delicious and was served in a timely manner. Reasonably priced and will return for a sandwich one afternoon.

I had the chicken shawarma and my husband had the double bacon cheese burger with fries was delicious service friendly and prompt dining area clean and tidy but needs some music to add to atmosphere

Incredible Deli with a gigantic selection of amazing food. Huge portions! Excellent service! I love the falafel! Great Hot Sauce! Corned Beef Hash! Huge Salads! Matzoh Ball Soup! Grab an Imperial Cookie on your way out! Easily my favourite place to eat downtown, and very affordable.

Stop in for breakfast every now and again to get a clubhouse. Absolutely love the crispy bacon on the sandwich. When I come in at lunch the wait staff is excellent. I only ever see the one working as a server but she does a great job.

Very good location and parking is quite easy with street parking available (and Winnipeg is offering 1 complimentary hour parking daily). The place offers quite a lot of sitting and with covid you can have a piece of mind that you are not sitting in a crowded restaurant. The food is authentic, and there are quite a lot of options on the menu for everyone. Staff are friendly, and food came out very fast. I would go back for the fries, matzo ball soup, and the brisket sandwich. Second review! Had to go back for matzah ball soup and more sandwiches. So delicious!

Oscar's Deli is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and the comforting aroma of freshly made deli favorites. The menu is a perfect balance of classic staples and creative twists — every bite is a testament to quality and care. I tried their signature pastrami on rye and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had — tender, flavorful, and perfectly stacked. The sides were just as impressive, especially the homemade potato salad and chicken noodle soup. Portions are generous and pricing is very reasonable for the quality you receive. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and has that authentic deli charm that makes you want to linger a little longer. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Oscar's Deli is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back — five stars all the way!
